Old-Fashioned Peach Cobbler 
Ingredients: sliced peaches (fresh, frozen, or canned), sugar, lemon juice, cinnamon, nutmeg, butter, all-purpose flour, baking powder, salt, milk
Instructions: Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). In a saucepan, simmer peaches with sugar, lemon juice, cinnamon, and nutmeg until juicy. Place butter in a baking dish and melt it in the oven.
Meanwhile, whisk together flour, baking powder, salt, sugar, and milk to form a smooth batter. Pour the batter over the melted butter—don’t stir!
Gently spoon the peach mixture over the top and bake for 40–45 minutes until bubbly and golden. Serve warm with vanilla ice cream for that classic Southern comfort!
